The founder
Stephanie Khaw
Stephanie Khaw is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland, admitted in October 2019, and an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, admitted in November 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University, and a Certificate of Legal Practice from Advanced Tertiary College.
She came to Queensland personal injury as a paralegal, working on files for a Queensland practice for five years from 2014 before her admission as a solicitor in 2019. Since then she has carried between eighty and a hundred CTP, WorkCover and PIPA claims with one Queensland plaintiff firm, and around a hundred and thirty WorkCover files with a second Queensland firm from 2025. She works daily in LEAP and has run files end to end, from notice of claim through to compulsory conference.
Twelve years on Queensland personal injury files teaches you where the time actually goes. Not into the judgement calls, which are the part that needs a solicitor and always will. Into the assembly around them: the chronology nobody has time to build properly, the disclosure bundle that keeps getting pushed to next week, the schedule of damages rebuilt from scratch because the last version is three medical reports out of date. That work has to be done well, it has to be done by someone who knows the Queensland schemes, and it does not have to be done in Australia.

The team

Our file preparation team is based in Penang. We recruit law graduates, non-practising lawyers and experienced law firm clerks, and we train them specifically on the Queensland personal injury schemes — the notices, the time limits, the disclosure obligations and the forms — before they are given a file. They are employees on written contracts, with confidentiality obligations that survive their employment.
We would rather turn work away than take on a firm we cannot serve properly.
